Your name on checkout, receipts and card statements
Last updated September 13, 2026
Your logo, brand color, support details and card statement name are set under Settings → Account & payments and all go to Stripe when your payments account is opened; after that your name, logo, color and website stay in step automatically, while the statement name and support details are changed in Stripe itself.
To your customer, LakeOps Payments should look like your company and nobody else: your name and logo on the page they pay on, your name on their card statement, your phone number when they have a question. All of it is set in one place, and most of it follows you to Stripe on its own.
Where it is set
Settings → Account & payments → What your customers see. A preview beside the fields shows the real page header and pay button with what you saved.
| Setting | Where your customers see it |
|---|---|
| Logo (PNG or JPEG, under 2 MB) | Their job page, statement and every email — and Stripe’s checkout page and receipts |
| Brand color | The pay button and accents on your pages — and Stripe’s checkout page |
| Support phone | The footer of your pages and emails — and, once, your Stripe account |
| Support email | Where replies to your customer emails land, and the footer of your pages — and, once, your Stripe account |
| Website | The footer of your pages and emails — and your Stripe account |
| Name on card statements | The line on their card statement |
Your company name, from the top of the same page, heads everything. Nothing here is required: a shop that sets nothing gets its name in LakeOps colors.
The name on card statements
What a customer reads months later, beside a charge they have forgotten. An unrecognized name is one of the commonest reasons a customer disputes a charge, so make it one they will know.
- 5 to 22 characters, with at least one letter.
- Plain letters, numbers, spaces and
. , & -only. It is stored in capitals, because that is how card statements print it. - Leave it blank and LakeOps makes one from your company name. The field shows what that would be. If your name is too short or unusual to make one, it asks you to set one before you take card payments.
Only people who can configure payments see this field.
What changes once your Stripe account exists
Stripe lets LakeOps set everything before you start setup, and only some of it after. So everything goes to Stripe when your payments account is opened. From then on:
| Kept in step automatically | Change in your Stripe dashboard |
|---|---|
| Company name, logo, brand color, website | Name on card statements, support phone, support email |
Change a logo, color, name or website in LakeOps and it is sent to Stripe in the background; the panel says when Stripe last took it. Change the statement name or support details in LakeOps after setup and your own pages and emails use them straight away, but Stripe’s pages keep the old ones until you change them in Stripe too — the panel links to Public details in Stripe for exactly that. If Stripe ever refuses an update, the panel says so and links to Stripe’s branding settings.
That is why setting up LakeOps Payments suggests filling this page in first.
Where your customers’ replies go
Every email LakeOps sends your customers comes from your company’s name, and every one of them tells the customer a reply reaches you. It does: a reply goes to your support email, or, if you leave that blank, to the account owner’s email. It never goes to a no-reply address. See every email a customer can get.
The one line that names us
Your pay page, and emails about a payment through LakeOps Payments, carry one small line — “Payments by LakeOps Payments · Secured by Stripe” — because being cagey about who moves the money would be worse than naming it. Everything above it is yours.
